Testing & Learning Center

The Testing and Learning Center is to support learning by providing students with appropriate academic services andfacilities to improve current skills, learn new skills, and develop effective strategies for life-long learning.

The services of the Lone Star College-Kingwood Learning Center are designed to be flexible enough to meet the demands of a changing population, to accommodate different learning styles, and help students persist in order to achieve their educational goals.

The Lone Star College-Kingwood Learning Center emphasizes helping students learn and enhance skills in the context of their courses of study.

The Testing & Assessment Center is a proctored facility where students take make up exams, computer based exams, and placement/assessment tests. No appointment is needed. Students must provide a photo ID and arrive one hour prior to closing to receive paper tests and two hours prior to closing for computer tests.

LSC-Online exams are given through Vista in the Testing & Assessment Center. LSC-Online and makeup exams may be sent to the center electronically through the campus email (kingwood.testing@lonestar.edu), by campus mail, or hand-delivered. Test request forms can be obtained online or in the Testing Center.
