PLA Credit for Licensure or Professional Certification
Professional certification or state licensure may be equated to college credit based upon competencies demonstrated by successfully completing the professional certification or licensure examination. In order to be eligible for this type of credit, the license or certification must be official and current. Only licensure and certification that has been approved through the curriculum process by the curriculum team will be articulated to credit. http://www.lonestar.edu/69288/. The student must provide evidence of successfully passing the professional certification exam and proof of current or active licensure.
