Reference Librarian, Hope Beggan, and the Learning Access Center’s own Jill Hinkle have created an interactive audio walking tour of NHC Library.  Students may pick up a color-coded map and a CD player in the Reserve Room. Numbered signs are posted throughout the Library and are used to guide the students down the right path.

This convenient and easy to use audio tour covers both floors of the library and highlights the main collection areas and service locations.  It introduces students to key terms such as periodicals, audiovisual, circulating, and reference.  It explains basic library concepts and also prompts the students to search for items on their own, such as their favorite author in the pleasure reading collection.

A short quiz may be utilized to test for understanding.  Quizzes are located at the front desk in the Reserve Room on the second floor of the Library building.    Please contact Hope Beggan at 281-618-5484 for more information
