Transfer Students

Students transferring to an NHMCCD college should begin the enrollment process by applying for admission below.

All students must follow a degree plan to insure that the courses they select will apply toward their completion goal. Sample plans can be found in the Programs section of our Web site under Degrees & Certificates. Below are three common approaches for NHMCCD students:

  • Complete an NHMCCD degree or certificate listed under Degrees & Certificates.

  • Attend NHMCCD prior to transfer to college/university: Consult the university catalog for the degree plan the student will ultimately attain. Our Transfer Planning section will help show how NHMCCD courses will transfer to a Texas college/university. In most instances, the student will be able to earn an Associate's Degree through NHMCCD prior to transferring to the college/university.

  • Transfer to NHMCCD from another institution: Consult the NHMCCD catalog for required courses leading to the NHMCCD degree or certificate. Our Transfer Planning section will help show how Texas college/university courses will transfer to NHMCCD.
