You can pay tuition and fees by cash, check and credit card.
Spring 2007
For classes beginning January 16:Friday, January 5 (by 4:30pm)
After Friday, January 5 at 4:30pm:
Full payment is due at the time of registration for classes beginning January 16. If registering via phone or online after this date, payment must be made by credit card.
For mini-mester classes beginning December 18:Friday, December 8 (by 4:30pm)
After Friday, December 8 at 4:30pm:
Full payment is due at the time of registration, through December 16, for classes beginning December 18. If registering via phone or online after this date, payment must be made by credit card
Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted. Credit card payments can be made over the phone by calling 281.591.6625 or any NHMCCD college business office. Most colleges have boxes where you can leave payment. Current students can pay online via My Records (Stargazer)
The following regulations apply for paying by check:
- $25 returned check fee
- If your check is returned, you must pay your tuition promptly or it can be canceled, your registration canceled and your records withheld.
- No postdated checks will be accepted.
- No checks will be accepted for a sum larger than the amount of the transaction.
A tuition payment installment option is available for classes with a duration of 14 weeks or longer. A signed promissory note with 50 percent of the tuition and fees plus a $20 incidental installment payment service fee are due prior to the first day of the semester unless registering early.
Early registrants must start the installment option by the first payment due date. Being approved for a payment plan will not prevent you from being dropped from all classes if such plan is not exercised by the early registration payment and fees deadline. Remaining payments are due by the sixth and eleventh weeks of the semester.
