Carver Center Open Class
Carver Center students enrolled in Literature by African American Authors (Forms of Literature:2342) will host a 90-minute open class at 12:30 p.m. on October 25 and November 1, 2006.  Open class will be conducted in seminar fashion, and will feature argumentative issues in Zora Neale Hurston's Their Eyes Were Watching God, and will present treatment of other  African American literature. 

All faculty, staff, students, and community residents are invited to attend and actively participate. Light refreshments will be served.  Prior to the event, copies of the open classes course syllabi with full text and excerpts of the literature will be available after October 20.
