• Identify what is included in the following search tools and how to access them:
  • Online library catalog
  • ProQuest-PA II online database
  • Google Web search engine
  • Off-campus access databases appropriate to their topic
• Select appropriate key words and/or related words to use in searches based on the student's topic
• Execute an appropriate search in the search tools using search tips provided
• Select relevant titles for research needs from the search results
• Locate availability information for search results if full-text is not available on computer
• Locate subjects or related words used by search tools (if available) to search for further information
• Identify information needed to cite a selected resource
• Evaluate information resources for one or more of the following elements related to a student's research topic:
