Students and registered student organizations are subject to disciplinary action according to the provisions of the Code of Student Conduct, described in the NHMCCD catalog. NHMCCD Police Department Policies

The NHMCCD Board of Trustees has created a District-wide police department. The police department is staffed with licensed police officers as well as non-sworn security guards. NHMCCD peace officers are commissioned to provide protection for persons and property. NHMCCD police have the same authority as any other licensed peace officer on the property owned and controlled by the District, including the authority to arrest, investigate, and file charges when a crime may have been committed. Police officers patrol in marked police cars, bicycles, golf carts, and on foot.
