Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce

    The Houston Northwest area is located 20 miles from Houston's central business district. Several major crossroads are found along FM 1960 - U. S. 290, Stuebner Airline, State Highway 249, Kuykendahl, Hardy Toll Road and Interstate 45. This unincorporated Harris County region has a sense of community gained from the unifying link provided by FM 1960. Extensive areas of forested beauty have made the "1960 Area" one of the most popular residential locations in the Houston region.
