Isn’t it exciting! North Harris Montgomery Community College District has a new employment system, the STAR System.
The new system is designed to provide state-of-the art technology to simplify the employment process, address the needs of the district’s recruitment and provide enhanced customer service.
As of September 25, ALL applicants wishing to apply for with NHMCCD must provide a new application within the Star System.
For those considering a career with us, the new online employment system offers applicants many advantages, including:
- Viewing of advertised positions online 24 hours per day/7 days per week
- Opportunity to apply for any open position 24/7
- Better communication to applicants in regard to receipt of applications
- Access to monitor the status of your application through an individually assigned, password-protected user account
- Complete basic application information one time and the ability to update/edit, as needed, when applying for other positions
- Answer job-related questions from the hiring supervisor to see who best qualifies for the position
- E-mail attached files (resumes, samples of work, cover letters) to the hiring supervisor the day you apply online
- Ability to print the application for your records
In addition, we will require that all transcripts be scanned in PDF format to the application due to readability.
