This weekend class features six hours of classroom and 14 hours on-cycle riding time. The course is designed for both the beginner rider and the experienced rider who want to sharpen existing skills and to learn new ones. Special emphasis is placed on mastering full control of the cycle. Once this skill is developed, the course moves to the advanced physical and mental skills needed to ride the motorcycle safely. Some insurance companies may offer a 10 percent discount for three years following completion of the course. Fee includes use of cycles as well as all books and matrials. Minimum age is 15. This course is mandatory for those under 18 to obtain a motorcycle license. Under 18 must have parental consent plus have completed or be enrolled in a concurrent Driver's Education progra.
