NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION CHECK LIST
Fill out a "New Student" application packet and return it to the ADMISSIONS OFFICE (A-105).
Sign in to see an ACADEMIC ADVISOR in the COUNSELING OFFICE (A-104).
Take COMPASS test after meeting with an ACADEMIC ADVISOR.
Take New Student Information Session (NSIS). The NSIS requirement can be satisfied by any one of the following:
Scheduled lecture.
View it on a computer in Academic 104, counseling office - there is limited space available, or on a computer in Academic 200, Open Computer Lab. Check out NSIS CD from library to view at home, CD can only be checked out for a period of one week. (If you choose to view the NSIS at home, please ensure that you print your CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION.)
Sign in to meet with an ACADEMIC ADVISOR to review your test scores and to discuss scheduling recommendations.
Complete scheduling section of registration form.
Return to the ADVISING AREA (A-105) in the ADMISSIONS OFFICE to register for classes.
