If you want to continue beyond the associate's degree, you can complete your studies at The University Center. NHMCCD is partnered with six universities to provide a variety of bachelor's and master's degrees: Prairie View A&M; University, Sam Houston State University, Texas A&M; University, Texas Southern University, University of Houston, and University of Houston-Downtown.

Associate of Arts (AA)

Related to the baccalaureate degree, the AA degree does not have a declared major, but contains 1st and 2nd year courses which will generally transfer to a four-year college or university.

Associate of Science (AS)

The AS degree, like the AA degree, contains the 1st and 2nd year bachelor's degree courses for transfer to a four-year college. The AS degree includes a higher concentration in math and science than the AA degree.
