COMPASS or ASSET tests can be used for the Alternative TASP test for the initial TASP test only.

Upon completion of the COMPASS or ASSET test (Using it as an alternative to TASP), a writing sample will be given. The writing sample requires students to demonstrate their ability too communicate effectively in writing on a given topic.

Sample Asset Test

Steps to take Compass or Asset:

1. Must turn in application for admissions and obtain a registration form from the admissions office.
2. Go to the front desk in counseling office to pick up a referral card to take Compass or register for the Asset test.
3. Compass is taken in academic building, room A-102. You must allow 3 1/2 hours before closing to take the exam. Asset examinees will be given the test location at the time your register for the test.
