Comprehensive English Language Test is for students who speak English as a second language should take CELT and then attend a CELT orientation. There is no charge for the test. Students sign up in advance in Counseling.

The CELT test includes listening, structure and vocabulary skills. A departmental writing sample is also given to determine final placement. You will receive your test scores at your scheduled orientation and advising session. The counseling staff will advise you as to placement in specific college credit classes. Your test results will determine if your course selection will be restricted.

Do:

Arrive 15 minutes early for check-in
Bring the following materials to the test:
Picture ID (driver's license, green card or passport)
Two (2) sharpened # 2 pencils
