Flash floods may be caused by hurricane, tornado, heavy continued rain or damage to flood control devices. Police will activate the EMRT on the first sign or warning of flash flooding.

• The President will decide if classes will continue or be cancelled.
• Recordings and telephones chains will be activated.
• Police will assist in any evacuation of the campus

1. Avoid any standing water unless you are sure of the depth
2. Do not enter ANY fast moving water
3. Go to the highest ground available.
4. If trapped in a vehicle or home, call 9-1-1 for assistance. An emergency cell phone is a good investment.

• F&PO will remove standing water in buildings and grounds. Contractors will be arranged as needed.
• Photos will be taken by the Police Department as needed to record damages.
• The President will decide when classes can resume
