Requirements
B. You will be required to write between 10 and 12 short, informal reports and letters both in and out of class.
C. You will be required to make a short, oral report on the topic of your formal report.
D. You will need an IBM formatted PC disk.
Since regular attendance is absolutely necessary for the successful completion of this course, the following rules will be strictly enforced:
B. Three tardies = 1 absence.
C. Although I may drop you for non-attendance, do not count on it if you decide to withdraw from class. Sometimes, particularly toward the end of the semester, I do not have time to drop students. It is your responsibility to formally drop the course should you be forced to withdraw. However, I cannot drop you for non-attendance after November 8.
D. You are responsible for all material covered in class when you miss.
Papers and Assignments
B. In-class assignments must be written in class. If you cannot be in class on the day of an in-class assignment, you must make up that assignment within a reasonable period of time in my office.
C. Out-of-class assignments are due at the beginning of the class period. Late papers will be penalized 10% per day for each day they are late.
D. Quizzes worth fewer than 15 points cannot be made up.
E. You are responsible for knowing wht the assignments are when you miss class; for example, if you miss class on a Wednesday and an in-class assignment is made for Friday, you must be prepared for that assignment on Friday or receive a "0" for that assignment.
