A study of physical forces that shape the earth and all its land forms. special emphasis is given to the origins of minerals and rocks, volcanos, earthquakes, structures and geologic processes. Lab exercises include specimen identification, use of topographic maps and aerial photographs and interpretation of geologic data. Participation in field trips is strongly recommended.
