Phys 2426 Electricity, Magnetism & Light

This course is a continuation of PHYS 2425, including the study of electrostatics, Gauss's law,
circuit theory, magnetism and Faraday's law, electromagnetic waves and Maxwell's
equations, the reflection, refraction, diffraction and interference of light and
the theories of relativity, quantum mechanics and cosmology. It includes an
appropriate laboratory program illustrating the principles learned in lecture.
This course is primarily for physical science and engineering majors.
