Interestingly enough, my intent is not at all to be adversarial, but rather to find a place where we can bridge any differences we have and move forward together as a team to insure we are serving students. Elisa, I will respond to you privately. In the meantime, I await a response from DSTC as to how they plan to move forward.

I cannot meet Tuesday and not sure any time next week will work ... my schedule is packed. I say we see what John has in mind for training (seems he has been giving this thought and did a good job with the training module before), then we can add our $.02.

I do not see retraining as a huge issue at KC -- like NHC, most KC users are occasional users. We have only a handful of power users. For Kingwood, I think the emphasis will be on a new training effort to try to finally build some momentum for Estrada use. I would like to know:
1. When will the new version launch? 2. How will the migration process affect web coordinators -- what is our involvement? 3. When will we have access to the staging area for our sites to make sure everything is complete? 4. Can we be given access to a a general staging area now?
I'm anxious to hear about training as DSTC plans are finalized.

Elisa, I think that is perfect! As you've said, it frees up out marketing boxes to finally be marketing boxes! Although Diane is not available at the moment, I am sure she will concur.

sorry ... just now weighing in. I rotated our box at one point last year and that got immediate attention from certain dl faculty on campus. We currently have a permanent ecampus marketing box. However, with the launch of the new ecampus and the gumdrop link at the bottom of the page, I was planning to begin rotating after the first week of class. I like the redesign idea. Seems to me that would (or should) solve the problem.

I registered for a class a little while ago to test it and found the information inconsistent. Room numbers now appear in "My Class Schedule" BUT DO NOT APPEAR in "My Shopping Cart." I think that it will be printed from both locations. While it is not as urgent as I originally thought, I still see it as a problem. An email has been sent to our Dean of Student Development with a link to Montgomery's Plan-It so that individuals will be armed with a quick online reference for finding room numbers Monday morning.

As of yesterday, this is still not on "My Class Schedule" -- so when students print their schedules thinking they'll have classrooms -- they will not.

Nothing and this morning I get "SYSTEM ERROR DETECTED" so cannot check. I'll follow up on Monday.

At the request of KC advisors, I have turned in a request to the Service Desk to add classroom locations to the student schedule in My Records.
