Pronunciation for Communication and Work I
This course is designed to improve non-native English speakers' pronunciation skills. It takes them step-by-step through the pronunciation of all American sounds, rhythm, stress, and intonation while concentrating on accent reduction. Students practice basic pronunciation skills such as tongue, lip, and jaw position; airflow; word reduction; and related sounds. An Accent Inventory is conducted at the beginning of the course to determine individual pronunciation difficulties. Students purchase book.

It provides in-depth practice for both vowels and consonants - particularly those which are troublesome such as lax vowels and diphthongs.
