MATH 0110 -- TASP Preparation in the Math Lab

Contact Cathy Morrell (281) 618-5469 for information.

The Math 0110 course is designed for TASP-track students who have completed all required developmental math courses through MATH 0310 (Intermediate Algebra) but who have not yet passed the TASP math test. Students who enroll in this course review the math skills needed for the TASP math test. These students work with current textbooks, the "Take-a-Teacher-Home" video series, and math software, all of which are available in the Math Lab for in-lab use. Math Lab tutors and Math 0110 instructors are available to help students with questions. Each student's Math 0110 assignments are based on his Pre-TASP test results and TASP math sub-scores. During the Fall and Spring sessions students enrolled in Math 0110 are required to spend two and one-half hours per week in the Math Lab working on math for the TASP, and one Math 0110 assignment is due per week. Other students who wish to review for the TASP Math test may enroll in MATH 0110 with Math Department approval.
