Kingwood and North Harris Colleges to hold auditions for A Streetcar Named Desire
 
In a unique collaborative project, the Kingwood College and North Harris College fine arts divisions will jointly produce and stage a spring production of Tennessee Williams’ award winning play, A Streetcar Named Desire.
 
Auditions will be conducted on Tuesday, March 5, 7:30 to 10 p.m. on the North Harris College campus in the Performing Arts Theater and Thursday, March 7, 7:30 to 10 p.m. at Kingwood College.
 
The play will be performed at North Harris College April 25 to 28, and at Kingwood College May 2 to 5.
 
Rehearsals will be Monday through Thursday nights beginning March 18 and will alternate between campuses.
 
Area residents are welcome to audition, or to become involved in technical theater work. Participants will need to register for Theatre Workshop - DRAM 1120, Section 12821, registration #74210. The theater workshop course can be taken for credit or through NHC’s corporate and continuing education program. Auditioners interested in obtaining a script can purchase one at either the Kingwood or North Harris College bookstore.
