North Harris College's corporate and continuing education division is offering five nights of class tasting for free. Investigate common dangers to Internet users, especially children. Area residents are invited to free sample courses in Microsoft Office skills, Web development tools, real estate, and computer certification programs Jan. 12 through 22.

The menu of classes include: Internet Safety, Monday, Jan. 12, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., room CE-203; MS Windows and MS Office, Tuesday, Jan. 13, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., room CE-203; Microsoft Certification Training, Wednesday, Jan. 14, 6 to 8 p.m., at Quick Strike, 25300 Borough Park Drive; Web Design Tools, Thursday, Jan. 15, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., room CE-203; and Learn What it Takes to be a Licensed Real Estate Agent, Thursday, Jan. 22, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Leonard-Hawes Real Estate School, 110 Cypress Station, #210.

North Harris College is located at 2700 W.W. Thorne Blvd., one-half mile south of FM 1960 East, between Aldine-Westfield and Hardy Roads. Registration for spring continuing education classes is now in progress.  The college will be closed for the winter holidays Dec. 20 through Jan. 4, 2004.
