SCHEDULE CHANGES
Schedule Changes (dropping and/or adding courses)

Changes to your schedule (dropping and adding in combination) and adding new courses to your schedule are processed according to the NHMCCD Academic Calendar.

Additional tuition and fees must be paid at the time of schedule changes. See Refund Schedule/Financial Assistance for more specific information.

You can drop individual classes or withdraw from school at any time until the deadline dates listed in the fall calendar.. You may not drop developmental English and developmental math courses without approval.

You can add/drop a course at any NHMCCD college if your "primary college" is closed.

Registration Holds and Clearance
You must clear holds on your records before regisration can be completed. If you suspect that there may be a hold on your records, check with the admissions office for information.

Cancelled Classes
Any course or section may be cancelled if the enrollment is insufficient or if a qualified instructor is unavailable. You may submit schedule changes due to class cancellation in the counseling/advising office any time during regular office hours the first week of classes.

Teaching Assignments
Teaching assignments are tentative and subject to change. The classes for which no instructor is designated will be taught by members of the full-time or adjunct faculty. Each course will be led by a qualified instructor who meets NHMCCD's requirements for teaching faculty.

Auditing a Class
The vice president for educational programs and resources may grant approval to audit a class. Approval to audit is subject to the space available in the class. The charges for auditing classes will be the same as charges for credit enrollment. No transcript records are maintained for audited classes, and credit will not be granted for a course that has been audited. Students may not change to/from credit to/from audit status. Registration for audit is the week prior to the first day of classes. If you are new to NHMCCD, you are required to attend a new student information session before registration, whether or not you take an ASSET test.

Advising & New Student Information Sessions
If you are new to NHMCCD, you are required to attend a new student information session before registration, whether or not you take an ASSET test.

Advising information is available as part of the registration materials issued at each college.
