CareerStart is a fast-track training program that leads to successful careers in:
CareerStart is an intensive occupational fast-track training program. The program offers a variety of career choice areas in which students can earn a certificate quickly. In addition to the above mentioned certificate programs, CareerStart also offers assistance and training for ESL (English as a Second Language) and GED. While CareerStart is open to anyone interested in a fast-track certificate program, several grants are available for funding.
North Harris College, in collaboration with local Texas Workforce Commission's One-Stop centers, employers, community-based organizations and government agencies, is committed to providing the combination of work opportunities and training that will lead it's participants toward self-sufficiency.
