The Professional Bookkeeper certificate trains students for high-demand position of Bookkeeper. The Houston/Galveston Area Council (HGAC) has identified bookkeeping as a targeted occupation for 2002. Targeted occupations are those that have the greatest likelihood of providing employment opportunities. The Professional Bookkeeper certificate has 33 total credit hours including, as the capstone, ACNT 1382 Cooperative Education-Accounting Technician.
