A limited number of jobs are available at each college to employ students part-time at a pay rate of $6.25 per hour for up to 19.5 hours per week. These jobs are primarily clerical and aim to assist the student with the cost of education.
Student must complete and submit their application for employment to the Financial Aid Office. Applications are kept on file for one semester, so students not currently employed by a college department would need to update their application every semester.
As a department is looking to hire a student, the department will contact the Financial Aid Office to review the applications on file and then contact the student directly to schedule an interview.
Students will receive a paycheck twice a month. The funds to pay the student will either be paid directly by the department for which they are hired or by College Work-Study funds. Work-study provides jobs for students who have applied for financial assistance and have a financial need.
For more information regarding work-study and/or on-campus employment, please stop by the Financial Aid Office to complete an application.
