Aerobics are offered for all current students, faculty and
staff who want to participate in a structured exercise program.
All sessions are one hour and include a warm-up, aerobic
phase and cool-down.
Appropriate clothing includes any of the following: sweat
pants, shorts, t-shirts, sports bras, and spandex shorts. All shoes should
be comfortable athletic shoes with good arch support. Keds and dance shoes
are not appropriate. The recreational staff has the right to deny any
participant who has questionable attire.
All participants must have a recreation pass and a photo
ID along with signing a "waiver of responsibility agreement." A maximum
of 40 participants will be allowed entrance on a first-come, first-serve
basis.
All sessions will start exactly at the scheduled time. There
will be no entry after the class has started. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
It is our advice that you consult your doctor prior to participating
in aerobics, especially those with heart disease, pregnancy, recurring
injuries and other problems where a physician monitors you. Neither NHC
nor the Department of Recreational Sports provides medical insurance coverage
for participants in any of its programs.
