In the event of an emergency due to illness or an accident that occurs on the NHC campus, students should contact the college switchboard operator by dialing 0 on any campus phone, the Campus Police by dialing 5555 or an Upward Bound staff member as soon as possible.

Section 101.051 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code expressly exempts junior college districts from liability for any personal or property damage that occurs on campus.
