North Harris Montgomery Community College District is made up of five comprehensive community colleges located throughout North and Northwest Houston.
North Harris College | North Harris College, opened 1973, serves more than 11,000 students and is the district’s only source for automotive technology, health information technology, child development and family studies, paralegal studies, medical assisting and pharmacy technology programs. |

Montgomery College, opened 1992, serves more than 8,000 students and is the only NHMCCD college to offer biotechnology and physical therapist assistant degrees. |
Kingwood College  | Kingwood College, opened 1984, serves more than 7,200 students and has distinct offerings in interior design, respiratory care and dental hygiene. |
Tomball College

Tomball College, opened 1988, serves more than 7,800 students and is home to the district’s only veterinary technology program. |
Cy-Fair College

Cy-Fair College, opened 2003, serves more than 11,000 students with unique programs in fire science technology, logistics management and sonography. |
The University Center
 |
The University Center is a partnership between NHMCCD and six Texas universities through which district students can pursue bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees as well as post-baccalaureate teacher certifications. |
District Services & Training Center | The NHMCCD District Services and Training Center includes a 13,000 square foot center designed for educational and professional development. Its leading-edge technology, user-friendly conference rooms and complete meeting services create an ideal learning facility. |
NHC Centers
NHC extends its offerings by holding classes in two satellite centers.
Each of the five colleges extend their offerings by holding classes in at least one satellite center.
