Speech and Theater
The North Harris college drama, speech and forensics programs are organized around the belief that students should receive their associate of arts degree prior to transfer to a four-year institution. All courses are transferable and meet necessary criteria allowing students to make a smooth transition when transferring.
The speech program offers students the opportunity to improve their communication skills while taking Intro to Speech Comminication, Public Speaking, Business Speech, and Interpersonal Communication. The student also has the opportunity to compete in statewide, regional, and national speech tournaments.
