Have a bright idea for a business, but don't know where to start? Maybe you have already started a venture, but would like to expand it to a more lucrative level. Beginning Sept. 11, North Harris College is offering a new certificate program for entrepreneurs who are just getting started or for those who have already stared a business, but need some help and support. Courses are offered through the college's continuing education program and include Introduction to Small Business Entrepreneurship, Financial Projections and Financing, Marketing and Advertising, Business Plan Preparation, Tax Information for the Small Business and Risk Management and E-Commerce. Classes are $42 each and are scheduled at two convenient locations: NHC's Parkway Center in Greater Greenspoint and the Beulah Shepherd Building in the Acres Home area of North Houston.
