Information for Parents

Thank you for registering your child in the Lone Star College-North Harris Kids College summer program. We have a very enthusiastic group of teachers participating in this venture, and we are sure that this is going to be a great experience for everyone involved!
There are a few important pieces of information that we would like to share with you to help provide a smooth beginning to your child’s Kids College experience.
Forms
Each child registered for a course must have a registration form, contact information form, and a preference/pick-up authorization form on file at Lone Star College-North Harris before he/she begins class. If you have not already done so, please complete the required forms. Forms are turned into the admissions office in the Academic Building at our campus prior to your child attending classes. Your signature on these forms is a requirement for your child's attendance in this program. If you have any questions about this information, please call 281.618.5659 or 281.618.5602.
Drop Off and Pick Up
Staff will be available to greet and accept the students for camp beginning at 8:30 a.m. Please do not leave your children prior to these times. Each day, you drop-off and pick-up your child in the gymnasium located in HPE 107. Use parking lot H next to the tennis courts and the continuing education building.
Please take note of important pick-up policies: Under no circumstances will your child be released to a person whose name and driver's license number is not listed on your child's pick-up authorization form. In case of an emergency, please contact campus police at 281.618.5611 or call 281.618.5651, or call the CE department's main number, 281.618.5602. If you are late to pick up your child (after 4:30 p.m.) you will be charged $5 per minute. Parents or designee will be required to show ID when picking up his/her child. Drop off is from 8:30 until 9:00 a.m.

If your child is disruptive during camp, you will be notified and the Lone Star College-North Harris Camp staff will reserve the right to remove your child from camp. No refunds will be given in the event that this situation
