Adventures in Art (6–8 age group)
Feeling creative today? Well, good, because this is the class that encourages you to explore your own unique artistic style and let your creativity run wild! You will have the chance to explore a variety of different art mediums, including charcoal, pastels and watercolors. Enjoy discovering your artistic talents.
Rockin’ Rhythms (6–8 age group)
Let your inner drummer develop in this fundamental music session. We’ll be jammin’ with found objects (ala Stomp) to great funky grooves while learning the basics of rhythm. Rock out!
Sign Language (all age groups)
Learn to speak without saying a word! You will learn basic signs so they can talk to each other or to the deaf and hearing impaired using American Sign Language.
Broadway Bound (9–11, 12–14 age groups)
Does your mom or dad think you should be performing on stage because of the wonderful dramatic performances they have seen at your home? Well now is the chance to do just that! In this class, you will have the opportunity to participate in performing skits, short plays, and monologues in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
Kolorful Kids (9–11 age group)
Learn how to paint. In this class, you’ll learn what colors to use. This class is a hands-on introduction to acrylic painting. Learn color theory and painting techniques.
Sing Sing Sing (6–8, 9–11 age groups)
If you like to sing, this is the class for you! Learn songs, dances, and rhythms and have fun singing and making new friends.
Your Impression (12–14 age group)
Learn to paint in the style of Pre-Raphaelites and French Impressionists. This class encourages students to explore their unique artistic styles and let creativity run wild.
Español, Español (all age groups)
Hola! Studying a new language can be a little overwhelming, but in this class you will find that learning Spanish can really be fun! With the use of games, songs, and stories, you will learn to identify common objects, count to fifty, pronounce letter sounds, and speak basic phrases in Spanish.
