Registration Information

Registering the Application:
Registering the application in person: Print an application registration form which is available in the "Application Registration Fee Form" link on the left of this page. Next go to the Continuing Education Building room 102 to register and finally to the business office in the Academic Building to pay the fee and get a receipt. Submit a copy of the registration form and paid receipt along with the completed application and ALL related documents to Winship Building room 116B. (For campus map click here.) NOTE: if the office is closed, you can slip the documents under the door of WN116B. Registering by FAX/phone: Print an application registration form which is available at http://northharris.lonestar.edu/141745.pdf . FAX the form to 281-618-5633. Call 281-618-5634 to verify the registration. Then call the business office (281-618-5474) to make payment by credit card. When registering by FAX or phone, include a note with your application stating that your application registration was completed by FAX & phone instead of submitting a paid receipt. Submit the note and the completed application along with ALL related documents to Winship Building room 116B. (For campus map click here.)

Registering for the PPR required course(s):
The PPR requirement can be taken by Continuing Education OR by College Credit.
For the Continuing Education PPR course, print the registration form on the left and submit it to CMED 102 then pay the fee at the business office. Finally, submit the registration and fee receipt to our office in Winship Building room 116B. You can also register by FAXing the form to 281-618-5633. Call 281-618-5634 to verify the registration. Then call the business office (281-618-5474) to make payment by credit card.
For the college credit that meets the PPR requirement, you must first have applied for admission to the college. (If you've ever taken college credit courses at a Lone Star College System you are already admitted.) Call 281-618-5410 for assistance. Then register in person or online for EDUC 1301 & EDUC 2301. BE SURE TO CHOOSE THE SECTIONS THAT ARE OFFERED BACK-TO-BACK ON SATURDAY MORNINGS! Other sessions of these courses do not meet the PPR requirement!
Registering for the TExES exam:
Open the related document on the left and read it carefully. Go to www.texes.ets.org to register for an exam. If the exam you want to take is not in the list of exams you are approved to take, call 281-618-5607, or email us at lynda.j.pirtle@lonestar.edu . When emailing, include your TEA ID number so we can access your information online.
