Music
The North Harris college Music program is designed to prepare you for an associate of arts degree, as well as for transfer to any four-year university. A full music curriculum is available, including music theory, sight singing, ear training, music literature, class piano, performing ensembles, and applied music instruction.
Music majors are encouraged to speak with a music faculty member before enrolling in order to be advised correctly.
Auditions are held in both fall and spring semesters and during the summer.
Performance ensembles include:
Symphonic Band, Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Vocal jazz Ensemble, and Steel Drum Band
