In Subscription Databases - find periodical articles in subscription databases listed on the library's web page for Online Databases: Health and Medicine. There are many databases you can choose. You can start with a multi-subject database like Academic Search Premier or the ProQuest database collection. If your topic falls wholly within a special field, such as health, try to locate a database that focuses on that field. Our Online Databases page is organized by subject to help you in this process. Use similar search terms as the ones above for locating articles in the subscription databases. Look in:

 Health and Wellness Resource Center
 Health Reference Center - Academic

 Academic Search Complete
 Proquest - All Databases

In Government Information - Many government documents are available free online. Please check the catalog for URL: location then click for access to the document. Many are in .pdf and require Adobe Acrobat for access. Free Adobe Acrobat is also available on the internet. Don't be impatient. It may take a while for the documents to download. government policy
or:
immunological aspects
or:
social aspects

Locate More Information For books and government documents - use the Library Catalog. Start with a "Keyword anywhere" search; identify "Subject" keywords to improve your results.

Evaluate what you find
Especially if you are using materials from the free and open Internet, evaluate them for:
Authority - who is the author? What is the sponsoring organization of the website?
Coverage - is the material covered adequate to the subject?
Currency - how old is the information? Does the age of the data matter?
Suitability - even if everything is fine, the material may not be appropriate for you (it may have been written for children, or for scientific researchers)
