The North Harris College Department of Physics offers courses for science and non-science majors. Courses include General Physics (1401-1402); Mechanics and Heat (2425); Electricity, Magnetism, and Light (2426); Planetary Astronomy (1411), and Elementary Physics (1410). Both day and evening classes are offered. Courses are acceptable for associate degree programs as well as for transfer to four-year institutions. The department faculty welcomes inquires from interested students.
