INTRODUCTION
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Associate Degree Nursing LVN Transition program is a three semester
course of study that prepares graduates to take the state licensure examination
for registered nurses and receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree.
The ADN program is accredited by the Board of Nurse Examiners (BNE) for
the State of Texas and by the National League for Nursing.
The LVN to RN Transition format includes one summer session, entry into
upper level, and a role transition seminar in the final semester. Sixty
students will be admitted each summer, 40 at North Harris College and
20 at Tomball College.
