The Creative Writing Presentations are a series of readings by North Harris College students, faculty, and staff members who are willing to present their original creative writing pieces. The presentations are made before an open audience in a non-competitive forum designed for enjoyment and the celebration of writing. The three to four readers at each session are given fifteen to twenty minutes each, and the genres include pieces such as short stories, personal essays, poetry, journal entries, and children's literature. An open invitation to read is extended at the beginning of each semester, and the schedule is made public shortly thereafter. Watch for the invitation to present and the schedule of readings at the beginning of each semester.
