INTRODUCTION
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Associate Degree Nursing Paramedic Transition program is a three semester
course of study that prepares graduates to take the state licensure examination
for registered nurses and receive an Associate of Applied Science Degree.
The ADN program is accredited by the Board of Nurse Examiners (BNE) for
the State of Texas and by the National League for Nursing.
The Paramedic to RN Transition format includes one 12-week summer
session and entry into the upper-level ADN program.
Twenty students will be admitted each summer at NHC.
The following courses must be completed PRIOR TO SUBMITTING AN
