NHC’s Camp Hurricane will be a tidal wave of fun for kids this summer Hurricane season is starting early this year with a children’s summer camp that will “blow them away.”
NHC’s Camp Hurricane is offered through the college’s corporate and continuing education division and hosts an ocean of activities for children ages 6 to 11 including: indoor and outdoor sports and games, computer fun, music, drama, dance, science, arts and crafts.
Summertime is approaching fast, and parents investigating summer camps for their children should catch the wave early and register their children for one or both sessions offered June 10 through 14 and June 17 through 21. Camp hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and costs $165 per session with an optional meal plan available for an additional $20. Also available is extended care before 8 a.m. and after 5 p.m. at The Exploratorium at North Harris College. For more detailed information, to receive a brochure, or to register, call 281-765-7929. The college is located at 2700 W.W. Thorne Drive, one mile south of FM 1960, between Aldine-Westfield and Hardy Roads. Registration for summer and fall sessions is now in progress. Offices will be closed May 25 to 27 for the Memorial Day holiday and July 4 to 7 for the Independence Day holiday.
