North Harris College announces faculty excellence award winners for 2002
North Harris College, part of the North Harris Montgomery Community College District, recently named four outstanding faculty members as recipients of the 2002 Teaching Excellence Award.
 
The award winners are Mary Durant, biology professor, Sandy Deabler, psychology professor, Shelly Penrod, biology professor and Jim Polito, mathematics professor.

The winners were honored at a district-wide banquet this spring and will be individually recognized at the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) international conference in Austin next May.
 
The North Harris College Teaching Excellence Awards recognize and honor outstanding faculty members and their essential role in the college. Quality teaching and innovative learning are the hallmark of the college, and these professors demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning.
