Gymnasium Equipped for table tennis, volleyball, basketball, pickleball, badminton and other innovative activities.
Tennis Courts 8 outdoor lighted courts
Weight Room Equipped with up-to-date Nautilus machines, bicycles, stair climbers, treadmill and free weights.

Intramural Fields Fields are for multi-purpose use including soccer, softball and flag football.

Racquetball Courts 4 courts plus a set-up for wallyball.

Jogging Path A safe 1.2 mile area designated for walking, jogging and running.

Programs Offered

Intramural Sports All students, faculty and staff may compete in a wide variety of individual and team sports. All eligible participants can enjoy a program that offers a challenging, competitive program against others with comparative skill levels.

Informal Recreation All students, faculty and staff may use the recreation facility at no charge during open hours. Areas include weight roomgymnasiumtennis courts racquetball courts. passes are issued Recreational Sports OfficeHPE-106.

Sport Clubs and Recreation Organizations These are registered student organizations which exist to promote and develop interest in a particular activity. They operate with an emphasis on student leadership and group participation. In order to join or start a sport or recreation club, contact the Recreational Sports Office, HPE-106

GCIC Sports Day Events This event is a fun-filled day at a host College competing in a variety of sports such as volleyball, basketball, racquetball, table tennis, tennis, bowling, golf, billiards and softball. Watch for flyers with times, dates and events.

Special Events Each semester there will be special events planned that is open to all students, faculty and staff. During the Fall and Spring the HPE and Recreational Sports Departments hold a 3 mile run/walk. Also in the Spring, there will be an All-Niter.
