ALCOHOL AND DRUG USE

No Upward Bound student shall possess, use, transmit or be under the influence of any of the following substances on school property, on the North Harris College campus or at any field trip or event:

• Any controlled substance or dangerous drug as defined by law
• Alcohol
• Abusable glue, aerosol paint or any other chemical substance for inhalation
• Drug paraphernalia

Students caught in possession or under the influence of any of these substances will be permanently dismissed from the Upward Bound program. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY WILL BE ENFORCED.

TOBACCO USE

Upward Bound students shall not possess or use tobacco products, including but not limited to cigarettes, cigars, pipes, snuff or chewing tobacco on school property, on the North Harris College campus or at any field trip or event.
