Physics
The North Harris College Department of Physics offers courses for science and non-science majors.  Courses include General Physics I (1401) and General Physics II (1402); Mechanics and Heat (2425); Electricity, Magnetism, and Light (2426); Elementary Physics (1410); Stellar Astronomy (1403) and Planetary Astronomy (1404).  Day and evening classes are offered.  Courses are acceptable for associate degree programs as well as for transfer to four-year institutions.  The department faculty welcomes inquires from interested students.
