NHC has a purchasing agreement with Adobe for all of their software products, such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Acrobat family, EncoreDVD, Audition, InDesign, Illustrator, GoLive, FrameMaker, Creative Suites, After Effects, etc. This agreement provides the software at a "bulk purchase" price throughout the life of the agreement. Purchases through this program are at a substantial savings, even over regular "academic" pricing.
NHC requires that when you make the license purchase, you must also purchase the maintenance subscription. This subscription keeps your software updated through the life of the purchasing agreement. In other words, if you purchase a license for Photoshop CS2 and Abode releases Photoshop CS3 during the agreement, you automatically receive the upgrade. Subscription prices vary, but are usually about 40% of the full license price and are prorated down as the purchase agreement end nears.
Currently NHC’s purchasing agreement Adobe runs through May 31, 2006. At that time, subscription renewal is required by all departments. Subscription renewal should be approximately 40% of the original licenses price. Remember to budget for the renewal.
