This is a companion website designed to accompany Reading Skills Books published by Allyn & Bacon. Topics include Vocabulary in Context, Finding the Main Idea, Supporting Details, Signal Words, Patterns of Organization, Fact and Opinion, Purpose and Tone, Inferences, Argument, and Combined Skills. Each topic contains several exercises. To start, scroll the screen down until the “Select a Topic” pull-down box appears. Select the area (for example, Combined Skills) and then click on “Begin”.
