Hospitality Management Program
The Lone Star College-North Harris hospitality management program provides students with an exciting opportunity to learn skills in customer service, decision-making, analysis and planning that are essential for managers and supervisors in one of the fastest growing areas of our economy: hospitality services.
The program and objectives were designed by experienced faculty and guided by leaders in successful hotel and restaurant establishments. The associate of applied science degree in hospitality management provides opportunities for students to learn concepts and practice skills in the classroom and in the workplace.
Lone Star College-North Harris, responding to the needs of local hotel, restaurant and general hospitality businesses, has developed the associate of applied science degree in hospitality management. Working closely with outside advisors, experienced faculty provide students with numerous opportunities to develop positive customer service attitudes, informed decision-making skills, and problem-solving techniques related to this growing industry. The capstone course in co-operative education is an excellent means for students to experience first-hand the rewards and challenges involved in creating a welcoming experience for consumers.
